UNIQUE MINERAL COMPOSITION
Embarking on a journey through the Earth's crust, Carpathian water undergoes a transformative process of natural purification. Along the way, it becomes imbued with a wealth of essential minerals, trace elements, and invigorating carbon dioxide.
In Polyana Kvasova, the mineral concentration ranges from 6.5 to 12 g/l, rendering it a potent medicinal water renowned for its therapeutic benefits. Trusted for centuries, it serves as a holistic remedy for various ailments and a reliable aid in preventative care. Embrace it as your daily tonic for overall wellness.
Chemically classified as hydrocarbonate-sodium-boron water, Polyana Kvasova shares similarities with the famed Borjomi water. However, exhaustive studies have revealed its exceptional qualities, surpassing even its Georgian counterpart in several aspects. This distinction has led to the recognition of Polyana Kvasova as a unique subtype of mineral water, emblematic of the pristine waters of the Polyana region.
The natural Carpathian water is bottled directly at the place of extraction, which allows us to preserve all the nutrients.
HISTORY
-
14th CenturyDiscovery and HeritageOver five centuries ago, the rich mineral springs near the town of Svalyava were first discovered. Used initially by locals for drinking, these springs soon revealed their remarkable benefits for human health.
-
19th CenturyFrom Tradition to IndustryIn the mid-19th century, the industrial extraction of mineral water began in the Svalyava region. Bottled and distributed under the name "Polyanska," this pristine water found its way to pharmacies, its bottles wrapped in straw for protection during transit.
-
1946In 1946, a new chapter unfolded as the Svalyavska Mineral Water Plant was established. With a commitment to quality and innovation, the plant began extracting mineral medicinal water from the eastern wells of the Novo-Polyanska area, now known as Polyana Kvasova.
-
1965As the Polyana deposit is quite large, a sanatorium was built in the western part of the Novo-Polyana area. The wells of the balneological resort are used to produce and bottle mineral water.
